Can anyone send me the text of a Rumi ode which I am pretty sure is in THIS LONGING, which is short, and ends with lines something like this:
"Some one comes in and puts their hand on my head, as though I were a child.
This is so difficult."
I am going through something difficult and the poem would be comforting to reread.
Thank you

Re: Favourite Rumi poem
It is not titled in this post.
Blessings... from Rumi.
Rock splits open
like wings beat at the air
wanting
canmpfire gives into rain
but I cannot go to sleep
or be patient
part of me wants to eat the stones
and hold you back when you are leaving
until your laughter turns bitter and wrong
don't you understand, I am some kind of food for you
I am a place where you can work
Someone sees me with out yo u
and puts thier hand on my head like I am a child
this is so difficult
